In the wild, Blue and Gold Macaws inhabit rainforests and swamps in Central and South America, where they feed on fruits, nuts, seeds, and occasionally clay to aid digestion. With a wingspan that can reach up to 3 feet, their graceful flight is as captivating as their vivid appearance. These parrots require a lot of mental and physical stimulation, making them a rewarding companion for experienced bird owners.
